Dogs Fit For Life - Official Trial Event

Dogs Fit For Life - GRC Dogsports Club is holding its first official trial event! This means GRC Members have the chance to earn a title!! To compete in the Official Trial event, you must be a registered GRC Member.  That being said, we will be running Mock Trials if  time permits.  And for that, you do NOT need to be a GRC Member to compete in Mock Trials.

GRC Dogsports is a way to deepened your relationship with your dog while having fun doing activities together as a team. It also has a great side benefit of helping to keep your dog in good physical condition.

This event will feature Social Responsibility Tests followed by 2 drive sports each day. Over the two days you  will get to see all four drive sports GRC has to offer - Slat Mill, Spring Pole, Wall Climb and Weight Pull. A harness is needed to participate in both Slat Mill and Weight Pull. We have some harnesses on hand that may or may not  fit your dog. So if you have prior experience please bring your harnesses with you.

Other equipment needed for the competition ring - flat buckle collar and a 6 foot leash. Closed footwear must be worn, no flip flops or sandals.

There is plenty of space to crate dogs inside the facility so please bring a crate as there are a limited number of crates currently on site.

GRC MEMBER -OFFICIAL or MOCK TRIALS

$20 per dog for the first Trial with each additional Trial for that dog at $10

NON GRC MEMBERS - MOCK TRIALS ONLY
$30 per dog for the first Trial with each additional Trial for that dog at $20

You may register more than one dog per household. Each dog will need to be registered separately.


GRC Members If you register for SR plus all four drive sports and your dog does NOT pass the SR, you can participate in the MOCK trials once the OFFICIAL Trials are complete. If you ONLY registered for the SR test but want to participate in  the other Trials you may purchase those on event days. GRC Members only may participate in Official Title Trials.  

NON GRC Members may compete in only MOCK Trials.
